This process perfectly protects the edges of the sample from deformation. It also creates a solid, uniform base for subsequent grinding, polishing, and hardness testing stages.

Unlike traditional manual or mechanical mounting presses, the Veiyee ixiang® 5 operates through a smart, large capacitive touch screen. Technicians only need to place the sample, pour the resin powder, and press a single button. The entire cycle—from Heating ➔ Hydraulic Pressurizing ➔ Holding Temperature/Pressure ➔ Water Cooling ➔ Pressure Releasing and Sample Ejecting—is fully executed by the system in a closed loop. This completely frees up valuable lab technician time for other critical tasks.

Equipped with an exclusive design that integrates a high-power heating system (up to 3000W) and an interleaved water-cooling pipeline, the device maximizes heat transfer efficiency. The total time required to complete a single mounted sample is shortened to only about 6 minutes. This ultra-high efficiency allows manufacturing plants to seamlessly meet urgent QA/QC testing schedules with a large volume of samples daily.

A common flaw in low-quality mounting machines is that the finished plastic block contains internal air bubbles or voids. This leads to edge shrinkage or sample peeling during polishing. Veiyee has completely eliminated this issue with its patented automatic cyclic pressure maintenance system (Cyclic Jog-Pressure). A powerful hydraulic pressure of up to 20 MPa is continuously compensated and maintained throughout the curing process. This ensures that the resin block achieves uniform hardness and adheres flawlessly to the specimen edges.
